Rachel Kinski

Rachel Kinski (played by Caitlin Stasey)

Rachel is a student at Erinsborugh High. She lives with Susan and Zeke at number 28 Ramsay Street. Her parents are the late Alex who died recently and Franchesca Kinski who died when she was just young. Susan is her step mom and Zeke and Katya are her siblings.

Rachel has lived a very shattered life she was home schooled and had no experience of doing anything that "normal" kids do like socialising or watching TV. When she persuaded her father to let her attend Erinsborugh High she had quite a bit of trouble settling in but was helped by her new best friend Bree Timmins and she adapted very quickly.

Rachel had quite a few clashes with her dad as she wanted to be allowed to grow up and he was not ready to let her go so she started to go off the rails a little when she dated older student Jake but the rebellious stage didn't last long and when Jake wanted to take things further she realised that he wasn't as grown up as she thought, but she had to mature quickly when Alex told her that he was dying if cancer and only had weeks to live so she set her mind to finding her big sister Katya which she did on the day of her dads wedding to Susan which was the day that he passed away.

When Alex died she is getting on with her life as best she can and has even made a new friend (and developed a crush on) Stingray Timmins. Index > Character Profiles > Rachel Kinski
