Ty Harper made his first appearance playing at an all-ages gig. Where he was introduced to a few of the Ramsay Street teens. In particular, a Ms Rachel Kinski, whom his cousin Taylah Jordan (also Zeke Kinski's girlfriend) tried to set him up with, thinking they would be a perfect match. However the two didn't appear to "hit it off", much to Taylah's disappointment. And he then later revealed to have dropped out of law school to pursue his musical career.
Since then however, Ty has moved in with Libby and Steph at no.32, and is currently working as a bartender at Charlie's whilst juggling his music career.
Despite gaining a legion of fan through his music, there was one fan that proved to have more of an obsession than an interest. So whilst talking over drinks with friend Rachel, he tells her all about it and Rachel soon comes up with a cunning plan to ward her off: She"d pretend to be Ty's "fake" girlfriend!
However the plan has since failed, after a confrontation between Ty and his former stalker Donna Freedman. Where he revealed that Rachel wasn't in fact his girlfriend and told her that he did it to get her to stay back, as her obsession with him was creeping him out.
