Harold thanking Lyn for signing the forms for the homeless shelter

School
Maggie and Ivan are telling Leo that they didn't have any choice but to look in his locker after how he has been behaving they tell him that he can tell them anything Leo realises that they think that he is taking or dealing drugs and gets very angry with them for thinking this.

Drew and Libby's apartment
Libby is pleased that now that she is starting the magazine she will have the freedom to writ whatever she wants, but Drew tells her that she has to consider the financial side of things when she tells him that she doesn't know anything about this he tells her to speak to someone who does before going any further.

Lou's place
Karl is telling Susan that Darcy has them over a barrel and he thinks that it is ridiculous that he has to spend most of his time on paperwork rather than dealing with his patients. They leave to go and visit Drew and Libby.

Bishops
Paul says that he has come home for dinner, as now that Flick and Tad are together three is definitely a crowd. Harold speaks about how well his plans for the shelter are working out but Paul warns him that he will have opposition and that the neighbours are only acting supportive because he is a friend and they don't want to hurt his feelings.

Coffee shop
Ivan and Maggie are trying to make it up to Leo by treating him at the coffee shop but they do still want to know what is going on and why he has been seen having money off other pupils, he tells them that he sold some cd's as he is saving up for a bike but then they question him because before he said that he was saving up for a skateboard so he just says that he has not made up his mind yet and leaves to go to the toilet, Maggie and Ivan debate wither or not they believe him.

Libby and Drew's apartment
Libby has invited Harold around to give them some advice on starting a small business. Harold mentions to them that Paul said some people were against the shelter but are just too nice to say anything to him, the Kennedy's deny that this is the case with them. They speak about the contents that are going to be in the magazine and Libby says that in the first article she wants to do a peace about how she was treated when she worked at the chronicle but no-one thinks that this is a good idea and when she is adamant that she is doing it Karol suggests that she should get legal advice about taking out insurance in case she gets sued.

Bishops
Paul is watching TV when Harold comes in he has brought a teenaged boy in with him who he introduces as Dave, he tells Paul that he is a troubled kid but Paul doesn't appear to care and just asks him if he has already turned it into a homeless shelter.

Bishops (the next morning)
Paul asks Harold if he is taking Dave with him when he leaves but Harold says no and tells him that he wants him to take his time and get some breakfast before he leaves.

School
A lad asks Leo where his homework is, so Leo removes it from his locker and gives it to him. Leo tells him that he needs to altar it slightly so that it looks like his own work but the boy pushes him up against the locker and tells him that if he has to work on it himself then he wants his money back, Ivan sees this and goes over to see what is happening Leo says it was nothing but now Ivan has just made him look silly.

Bishops
Paul invites Dave to play a computer game with him.

Coffee shop
Harold approaches Maggie about her feeling for the homeless shelter and suggests they have a street meeting about it but Maggie says that she won't change her mind about it and that her kid's safety comes first, which is why she wants to know who she is living next door to.
Libby and Ivan enter and Libby asks Maggie if she can have some legal advice from her.
The boys enter and see Leo standing at the counter and start teasing him about his dad.

Lou's Place
Susan and Karl are having a drink but Susan can see that he has something on his mind he tells her that it is Darcy, and he tells her that he hasn't decided what to do yet.

Bishops
Dave is still playing on the computer, Paul asks him about his family and Dave tells him that his dad is an alcoholic Paul says that his dad is one too. They speak about how they both dislike school and Paul decides not to go to school and asks if Dave wants to go for a game of footie.

School
Leo is asking the boy who he gave his homework to if he changed any of it but he says that that isn't what he paid him for and he threatens him again. Ivan enters the classroom he is the cover teacher and collects in their essays, he notices that two boys have handed in identical work and questions them about it, Leo looks nervous.
Outside the classroom Ivan talks to Susan about the boys and wants to set an example of them by suspending them but Susan says that she wants to find out who is behind the scam instead of making them pay and letting the mastermind behind it get away with it. Susan also says that she thinks that Ivan's opinion of the boys is biased as they have been seen bullying Leo.

Coffee shop
Paul and Dave come in Harold questions why Paul is not at school but Paul says he was feeling unwell so Harold offers to write him a note.
Karl comes in and Harold introduces him to Dave, he then talks to Karl about the street meeting that he is arranging.
As Karl leaves he bumps into Maggie and asks her about the meeting she tells him that she told Harold where she stood and just wishes that other people would do the same thing.

School
By the lockers Leo drops a folder Susan offers to help him pick it up but he says no, Susan jokingly asks him what he is hiding but Leo says nothing. She asks him about the bullying but when he says that nothing is going on she says that she will be keeping a special eye on him to make sure that no one is bullying him.
Karl enters and asks Susan for a word they go into a classroom and he tells her that he has decided that he can't afford to but Darcy out and there is no use fighting him anymore as he won't win. He is going to let Darcy win. Index > Episodes > 2001 > October 2001 > 3873 10th
