Janae discovers the shocking truth about Bree. Boyd and Janae try to score emotional points against each other. Susan puts on a brave face in light of Karl's happiness. Zeke's threatened by Bree's success.

Outside the Scully's
Bree is being interviewed about the book and says that most kids her age are just under estimated. She tells them that she likes reading romance novels hence the way that the book is written. Janelle says to Zeke that Bree is now a woman of the world so he needs to get himself in shape. Susan tells her to leave him alone but he looks worried.

General Store
Boyd thanks Ned for stepping in at the last minute to take Janae to the formal. Ned says that he is looking forward to it Boyd reminds him that he is 28 and she is only 16. Karl comes over and says that he is sorry to hear that he and Janae have broken up again. Karl then sits down with Jenny. Sasha enters and says hello to Karl he knows her parents as they are both surgeons. They realise that they are all going to the medical fundraiser at Scarlet bar tonight. Sasha goes to get a drink and Karl says how well suited the pair of them are.

Scully's
Janelle tells Bree how proud of her she is but Bree just wants to go and listen to music with Zeke. Janelle offers to make her some food but when Janae tells her she would like some too Janelle tells her to make it herself, when Janae moans she is doing it for Bree Janelle accuses her of being jealous but Janae says she isn't she just doesn't like favouritism.

Karl's apartment
Karl tells Jenny that he missed her last night and they start kissing but Jenny reminds them that they haven't got much time. She suggests that he should leave some things round at her place for future but he invites her to move into his place. She agrees and they kiss again.

Scully's
Boyd comes to see Janae but he doesn't like the fact that he thinks she is all dressed up for Ned. Janae tells him that he is the one who broke up with her and Boyd accuses her of playing games with him, which she says that she isn't.

Commercials

Karl's apartment
Jenny wants Karl to get rid of everything that reminds him of Izzy he comments that he has the only thing that he still has is the only gift that she ever brought him – a fake watch. She tells him to get rid of it but he sys he will when it stops working she tells him to just get rid and buy a new one but he says he isn't made of money he is just a GP.

Susan's
Zeke is worrying that he and Bree will drift apart, but Susan reassures him that although Bree is busy now it will not always be that way. Bree enters and tells Zeke that he is needed at Lassiters for a photo shoot, they leave together and Susan looks on in amusement.

Lassiters
The interviewer thanks Zeke and Bree for their time. The interviewer speaks about the racy content in the book but Bree says that her mom wrote those parts, and that she wishes those parts were not included as people think that she wrote them.

Karl's apartment
Susan knocks on the door and when Karl enters in a suit she realises that she has interrupted him when Jenny comes out to join them she apologises for not calling first. Jenny invites her to stay for a glass of wine but Susan says that she only called by to try to convince Karl to become the school councillor again. Karl tells Susan that Jenny is moving in with him and Susan congratulates them both then makes her excuses and leaves. Jenny comments on how comfortable Susan seemed with them moving in together.

The Scully's
Ned arrives to pick up Janae, Kim warns him to look after her. Janae enters and Ned says how nice she looks. She thanks him for taking her, Kim tells them to be home by midnight and they leave.

Scarlet bar (the venue for the medical fundraiser)
Boyd greets Jenny and Karl, but is worrying that Sasha might have stood him up. Karl gives Boyd a good luck gift – the watch straight from his wrist, Boyd realises it was a gift from Izzy and accepts it and goes to get them Champaign on the house. Jenny tells Karl that she is impressed with him getting rid of the watch and presents him with a brand new watch and not a fake one. Boyd comes back with their Champaign but they are too busy kissing to notice. Sasha enters looking stunning and takes one of the glasses from Boyd Karl takes the other and gives it to Jenny.

Scarlet bar
Sasha makes a reluctant Boyd get up and dance

Grease monkeys (venue for the formal)
Ned and Janae are talking he says that he is really enjoying himself and she says that she is too and thanks him again for coming. They toast single life and go to dance.

Scarlet bar
Jenny and Karl join Boyd and Sasha on the dance floor.

Grease monkeys
Susan is sat on her own looking very lonely she looks on sadly at Janae and Ned dancing.
Janae compliments Ned's dancing. A slow song comes on and Janae goes to sit it out, as it is her and Boyd's song.

Scarlet bar
The same slow song is playing and Boyd can't face telling Sasha about it being his and Janae's song so dances with her through it anyway although you can tell he is thinking of Janae.

Grease monkeys
Ned convinces Janae to dance anyway, which she does even though you can tell she is thinking of Boyd.

General store
An award is being given out for outstanding achievement, Sasha says that both her mom and dad won this award but Boyd wins it Sasha congratulates him and tells him that it won't be his only prize tonight.

Lassiters (after the formal)
There are lots of very tired teenagers. Ned gets him and Janae some water, he tells her how much he enjoyed the night and goes to kiss her but she doesn't think that it is a good idea as she is still thinking of Boyd. They leave to go for a walk.

Ramsay Street
Janae and Ned are standing outside the Scully's she is trying to persuade him to come in for breakfast, as he agrees and they start to walk inside Boyd and Sasha pull up in a taxi Boyd sees them going into the house together. Sasha wants to know if she should go home or go inside with Boyd, as her response Boyd kisses her but then changes his mind and tells her that it was a mistake he still loves Janae and that she should go home she congratulates him on his award he pays the driver and gets out of the cab where he stares longingly over at where Janae and Ned were.

The Scully's
Janae opens a letter addressed to J Timmins, but realises it is for Janelle but she reads it anyway, as she does so she falls back onto a chair. Ned asks her if she is ok she says that she is but asks him if he will leave now. He goes and Janae reads the letter to herself it's from the midwife who Kim and Janelle spoke to she is offering to help them track down their biological daughter, she looks over at Bree realising that she is not her sister.
